Sixth Form Transition
Here you will find Transition documents that have been put together by each subject we offer in Sixth Form. In each document, you will find reading lists, ideas for films and documentaries to watch, useful websites to visit, and very importantly, a series of tasks you must complete before starting Sixth Form.
It is essential that you complete all of the required activities for each of the subjects you hope to study at A-Level. You might also want to consider completing the activities of other subjects, in case you decide to change your options, or if you don’t quite meet the entry requirements when you receive your GCSE grades in August.
As well as this, it is vital that your knowledge of the GCSE content in each of your chosen subjects is strong, so that you are best prepared to start A-Levels later in the year. Read through your GCSE notes and revision guides, complete past paper questions and use mark schemes to help with this.
If you have trouble accessing any content, are unsure about what you need to do, or have any other questions, please contact Sixth Form Faculty Leader Dr. Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org, and he will do his best to help you.
