Parental App

We are excited to let you know of a major development in our quest to improve parental communications following on from some incredibly useful feedback from families over the past 12 months.

From Monday 20 June 2022, Beckfoot School will be using the Class Charts system to securely track and share details of your child(ren’s) achievement, behaviour, home learning and attendance throughout the school day thereby keeping you up to date of how they are doing in real-time.

If you have more than one child at Beckfoot, you can access Class Charts information about your children from a single, centralised parent account. Once you have set up each child, they will all run from one log in.

Class Charts will replace our previous parental communication app MyEd. We will not be using MyEd from September 2022.

We require all parents and carers to sign up via the APP or website. This is so important given that it will be the predominant method we will use to communicate with you from now on.

We have committed a great deal of time and research into this provision, and we feel it will make a significant difference to our communications and, ultimately, our relationships with families which is, of course, very important if a child is to be successful throughout their school journey.

How to sign up via the APP: Select ‘Sign Up’ (not log in). Fill in the form provided. Enter your Access code where state. Click on ‘Sign Up’. Confirm the pupil’s date of birth when prompted. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the Sign-Up process is complete.	How to sign up via the Class Charts website: Go to: classcharts.com/parent/login Enter your email address Choose 'I don't have an account yet' Enter your parent access code and name Choose a password Click Log-in!

Access codes:

All students were given a hard copy of the unique Parent/Carer access code for your child. If you would like this emailing, please contact us. All students were also given a hard copy of their own access code. If your child has lost this, please ask them to see their Head of Year/Pastoral Manager or SFO.
