Year 7 Curriculum Day: Science

On Tuesday we are looking forward to our year 7’s experiencing their first Wider Learning Day at Beckfoot. This will be the first of many, each one giving them an opportunity to experience things outside of the normal curriculum.
On Tuesday, the students will be off timetable all day working together to solve a crime and using scientific techniques to find the culprit. Could it be Mr Wade? Or will Mr Darling be the guilty one? Maybe someone else? The students will have a day to piece together the evidence and find out who has broken the rules.
We would also like to invite Year 7 parents/carers into school on Tuesday afternoon to see what the students have been working on. It would be a great opportunity for you to come into school, meet some staff and look around one of our Science labs too.
We will start at 4pm in the main hall and expect to be finished by 5pm at the latest.
