Year 11 Mock Exam Revision
Dear Year 11 student,
It's hard to be believe that we have completed the first half term of your GCSE year. I remember telling you in September that the year would fly by and if this first half term is a measure of that then I think you will agree.
We have a mere 3 half terms left until the exams and it is more important than ever to have a mindset that is about being positive, ambitious and driven to work hard. You are all capable of doing amazing things thins year but you have to work hard of you are to achieve your ambitions and next steps on to A Levels, College or Apprenticeships.
In September I also explained that this year you should be very aware of the opportunities that holidays offer to get some work done and consolidate learning. This half term is such an opportunity and you need to use the information we are providing to structure your study routines over the next week or so.
Of course you need some down time and space to be a teenager with friends and family. However, it is important to get the balance right and to see the next few days to really prepare for your mock exams. Doing well in these is vital because it will inform you and your teachers about the required next steps based on your performance.
I hope you do manage to have some tie for yourself next week and that you also get the right amount of work done to allow you to shine in your exams.
Take care.
Mr. Wade, Headteacher
