Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we swiftly approach the end of this academic year, I would like to thank you for your continued support of our Smart Uniform Policy. Our pupils are proud to be part of the Beckfoot community and their personal smartness demonstrates this pride.

I would like to particularly draw your attention to some updates:

• Trousers should be black tailored school trousers appropriate for school wear. No studs, leggings (stretch fabrics or Lycra), cropped trousers or jeans.
• Skirts should be traditional school style and knee length. No stretch fabrics or Lycra.

These uniform updates will be in place from the first day in September, so, as with all of our school expectations, failure to meet these standards will result in an immediate sanction as stated in our Positive Learning Strategy.
