The Queen's Platinum Jubilee plaque presented to Thompson Court

Over the years Beckfoot School has created strong links with a local care home, Thompson Court in Crossflatts. 

Janine and Shirley, from Thompson Court asked if our wonderful students would design a plaque to go in their gardens in front of the Jubilee Tree. The plaque was designed by our Year 11 students and beautifully varnished by Jack in Year 7. Jack also represented the school by presenting the plaque to Janine and Shirley, which was both given and received with pride and immense gratitude.

Thanks go out to all the students involved, Mr Wilkes and Miss Shaw for leading the activity and Thompson Court for allowing our students to be involved in such a momentous occasion in history.
