The impact of our volunteering
Volunteering is an essential part of the DofE programme - it has a huge impact on students who get involved, whether it's by giving back to their community, developing a passion for a particular cause, or learning a new skill through their volunteering activity, the Volunteering section changes lives and has a positive effect within communities.
The DofE have awarded Beckfoot School a certificate celebrating the impact of our DofE group's volunteering. Our students have dedicated 351 hours to volunteering between April 2021 and March 2022, with a social value of £1621.62.
It is an incredible achievement and we are so very proud of all our DofE participants - and so are the DofE head office!
