Important Final Reminder to collect Exam Certificates for Students from Summer 2023 Exam Series
It is a JCQ regulation that all exam certificates are collected by the candidate from school. Exam certificates are an important legal document and should be kept somewhere safe. Please note that it is a requirement of the Examining Boards that all certificates be returned to them or destroyed securely, if not collected within twelve months of issue. We suggest that certificates are collected no later than Friday 12th of July 2024 from the Summer 2023 Exam Series.

If certificates are destroyed or if you misplace or lose your certificates you can only obtain a replacement through the Examining Boards, any replacement costs are your responsibility (as at June 2024 - replacement charges can be up to £50 per certificate).

On collection you will need a valid form of photo ID (a passport, driving licence, university, work, college, student ID, bus pass etc). Siblings of previous students may also collect on behalf of their brother/sister using the school lanyard.

We are aware we have lots of ex students who are at work, college or university and ask that a trusted family member collects the certificates on their behalf if they are away/unavailable. They must bring an Authorisation Form (click on this link for the form) https://www.beckfoot.org/seecmsfile/?id=7765 pre signed along with a copy of ID for the candidate (we will accept a photocopy, an email copy, a screenshot on a mobile device) and their own valid form of photo ID.
On collection, the candidate or their appointed representative must sign to say they have collected the certificate. If you do not arrange to collect your exam certificate(s), it will be destroyed.
