We hope all of our students have had a lovely Easter break and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday.

A few things to remember:

• As per our end of term letter, we ask all students are in full and correct uniform from Monday. Please ensure all students have the right equipment too. http://www.beckfoot.org/families/uniform-and-equipment/

• Whilst we still have bubbles and to reduce interrupting student PE time, we are allowing all students to come to school in PE uniform on the days they have PE. Please ensure the PE uniform is correct. (Students may want to bring their school uniform in their bag, just incase the weather isn’t very kind during PE.)

• We are also asking that students no longer wear their coats around school. It was important that we relaxed this rule whilst getting through the winter. However, as we get into the summer, this is no longer necessary. In classrooms, where it is cold, staff may well allow this to continue but not in corridors or indoor communal areas.

• Just like students have been doing over the holidays, we ask that you make sure students take a Lateral Flow Test before returning to school on Monday; this can be done on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

• To report the results of Lateral Flow Tests, please do this at:

• If a student tests positive on either a LFT or a PCR test, please also can you inform us at admin@beckfoot.org or by ringing the school main telephone 01274 771 444 (there is a voicemail option for out of hours).

• Please remember: if any student or member of their household has any Covid-19 related symptoms, please book a PCR test for the person who has symptoms as soon as possible https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test. If a member of the students household has tested positive, that student will need to isolate and not be able to return to school until the end of the isolation period despite taking lateral flow tests. Please Report an Absence in the usual way.
