Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Return to School - Monday 1 Nov 2021

We are looking forward to welcoming all our students back after half term.

Just a few reminders:

Mobiles Phones

From Monday 1 November, we will be removing the use of all mobile phone devices in school including before and after school, during break and lunch times unless under the direct supervision of an adult. This means that phones must be switched off and out of sight at all times during the school day.

For further information, please see Mobile Phones in School

Covid-19 Update

The last week of term, saw us revert to the following Covid-19 prevention measures:

  • staff/pupils wearing face coverings in communal areas
  • no year group assemblies
  • continued use of hand washing and hand sanitizer
  • increased ventilation in classrooms and communal spaces

These will remain in place until Friday 5 November 2021, when it will be reviewed.

For future information, please see Covid-19 Update

If students are isolating due to testing positive for Covid-19 and are well enough to work from home, please see our Blended Learning Update

Please note, the second round of NHS Nursing Service Covid-19 vaccinations are on Thursday 18 November 2021.

Contacting School

Please note that your child’s Head of Year or Pastoral Manager may not always be available to take your call or respond to emails immediately during the school day.

This is due to pastoral or teaching and learning commitments. Parents / Carers can email or leave a message with reception and we will endeavour to return all calls and emails within 48 hours.

Please can we ask that you do not turn up to school to speak to a member of staff without appointment.
