I would like to share an exciting opportunity we have for members of our community to make a great contribution to our school via our Local School Committee (LSC).

The LSC has specific responsibility for the welfare and wellbeing of both students and staff, together with supporting and encouraging family engagement. The LSC also reviews survey results related to these areas and helps to ensure continuous improvement in school.

Two places will become available from June and we would like to invite expressions of interest in joining the committee from all parent/carers of our diverse community. It is important to us that a wide range of parent/carer and staff stakeholders are represented on our LSC. Everyone is welcome, no formal qualifications are necessary and we are keen to talk to anyone who would like to be involved. 

In terms of time commitment, LSC members will usually attend four early-evening meetings a year and be asked to participate in occasional Trust events and review documents at home prior to meetings.
