Covid-19 Update
Dear Parents/Carers
Covid-19 Update
I am writing to inform you that due to small but increasing levels of positive cases of Covid-19 within school, we have decided to implement part of our outbreak action plan.
We have a very robust action plan ready to be utilised and we have now decided to put in place some of the measures in that plan. We are working closely with the Public Health Team at Bradford Council and Beckfoot Trust Central Team to make sure that all relevant advice and guidance is followed. The measures we have agreed will be very familiar to you and include:
- a return to staff/pupils wearing face coverings in communal areas
- no year group assemblies
- continued use of hand washing and hand sanitizer
- increased ventilation in classrooms and communal spaces
These arrangements will be in place until at least Friday 5 November 2021 when we will again look at numbers of positive cases across school.
School remains open for all staff and students unless they have a confirmed positive Covid test or are displaying symptoms. It is critically important that students continue to attend if they have no symptoms and continue to learn through face-to-face teaching.
Our top priority remains the safety of everyone in our community and we will, where necessary, provide masks for any student who needs one this week.
Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. It is greatly appreciated.
Best wishes.
Simon Wade
