Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Accelerate Programme and Revision folders

Dear Parents/Carers

Year 11 Update: Accelerate Programme and Revision folders

Starting Tuesday 2 November 2021, we will be running sessions after school for Year 11 students to support them in accelerating their progress ready for their summer examinations.

These additional sessions are very much a part of our Covid recovery plans and therefore are an incredibly important provision for students in preparation for their GCSE exams. We therefore feel that attendance is more necessary than ever as part of our collective drive to ensure the pandemic does not continue to provide a barrier to success for any student.

These sessions will run from 2.45pm – 3.30pm.

Your child will receive their personalised timetable in school on Monday 5th November. We will also send this to both you and your child via email.

We have also provided all Year 11 students with a revision folder with resources for each of their subjects. There are resources to support students with effective revision available on our website: https://www.beckfoot.org/students-learning/teaching-and-learning/year-11-support/revision-skills/

We will continue to support Year 11 in becoming confident in using revision strategies over the coming months through their tutor time sessions.

Thank you for your support.

Wishing you all a wonderful half-term break.
