Happy New Year; we hope you had a lovely break and we are looking forward to welcoming all students on Monday.
In preparation for students’ return, here are a few reminders:
- As the last week of term was on Week 1 of the timetable, on Monday, the timetable is on Week 2.
- Please make sure lanyards cards are topped up with sufficient money for students to purchase break/lunch items. This can be done in advance on https://www.parentpay.com/.
- As always, please refer to the uniform and equipment policy: https://www.beckfoot.org/uniform-and-equipment/. Please ensure students have the correct uniform on (correct PE uniform with you) and all the equipment you need.
- Please check any Home Learning you may have is up-to-date. All Home Learning can be found in the Homework section of your ClassCharts app.

- Year 13 BTEC exams are in w/c 12 January 2026.
- Year 8 Curriculum Wider Learning Day for Creativity on Thursday 15 January 2026.
- Year 8 Positive Choices Wider Learning Day on Tuesday 20 January 2026.
- Year 9 Options Evening (parents/carers/students) on Thursday 22 January 2026: 4:30pm-6:30pm – more information will be sent out shortly.
- Year 11 & 13 Mock exams start w/c 26 January 2026 (for two weeks).
- Year 8 Parents/Carers Evening on Thursday 5 February 2026 – more information will be sent out shortly.
- Year 8 First Give workshop on Wednesday 4 February 2026 with the final on Thursday 12 February 2026.
- Last day of the half term is Friday 13 February 2026.
