Open Evening - Thursday 17 September 2026
Look around our school, talk to staff and students and hear from the Headteacher, Mr Simon Wade. He will give presentations throughout the evening when the hall is full, starting from 5:30pm.

Throughout your studies with the RE Team, you will engage with key philosophical ideas, ethical debates and scholarly literature. You will be encouraged to reflect on and develop your own values, opinions and attitudes to the big issues of life, whilst also critically analysing the theories of famous ethicists, philosophers, and theologians. Your studies will challenge you to explore questions such as: How do you know God exists? What is the most moral choice? Is Christianity relevant today?
The skills you will learn in Religious Education are essential in almost all professions. This subject will help you to develop critical analysis, communication skills, problem solving and the ability to present your ideas in a persuasive and rational way. RE is highly valued by universities and many students with Religious Education qualifications go into Law, Education, Charity or Politics.
In RE we love to have fun and make learning creative, unique and impactful. We align ourselves with debating and offer excellent opportunities to get involved. We
are always open to exploring new experiences through trips, new ideas and letting the students lead activities.
