Look around our school, talk to staff and students and hear from the Headteacher, Mr Simon Wade. He will give presentations throughout the evening when the hall is full, starting from 5:30pm.


Psychology is the study of the human mind and why people behave the way they do. This qualification offers an engaging and effective introduction to Psychology. Students will learn the fundamentals of the subject and develop skills valued by Higher Education (HE) and employers, including critical analysis, independent thinking and research.
Assessment is 100% examination and there are 3 exams taken at the end of the 2
years for Units 1, 2 and 3. We have continuous class assessments throughout the
year including; essays, tests, presentations and project work.
This subject will help you to better understand your patterns of behaviour and those of the people around you. It is a well-respected discipline and can be useful for a
range of careers including: psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, nurse, police officer, law, journalist, media work, counsellor, business and human resources.
Students will have the opportunity to conduct their own research and Psychology experiments, and visit external workshops to support their learning.
