Over the past few weeks, we’ve been really encouraged by the response for student Wellbeing Champions. In total, 41 students applied, all showing genuine care, creativity, and a strong interest in supporting others.
After a competitive selection process, 15 students have been chosen. The standard was exceptionally high, and every applicant should be proud of what they brought to the process. Those not selected will still be involved through a wider wellbeing network, helping to support initiatives across the school.
Our new Champions, from Years 7, 9, and 12, will now complete six weeks of training with an NHS Wellbeing Practitioner. This will give them the tools and confidence to support their peers and promote wellbeing throughout the school.
We’re proud of everyone who took part and look forward to seeing the impact this group will make in the months ahead.
