Your Year 10 Mock Exams will be taking place very soon, and I wanted to share with you some helpful advice on how to prepare.
Mock Exams are a chance for you to understand how much you have learned over the last school year, and for your teachers to understand what you know, and what gaps in knowledge you may still have, so that they can support you going forwards into Year 11 and your final GCSE exams. In addition, they give you an important opportunity to practice a similar exam process to the one you will experience at the end of next year. While these assessments are very important, they should not be a source of worry for you, particularly if you take the time to prepare yourselves well.
We will be talking to you more about this in tutor time and assembly, but for now, please find some useful information below:
- Maths, English, Science, MFL, and Humanities mocks will take place during the week beginning 01/06/26.
- Students will be allocated a room number and a seat number for these exams.
- Lessons will take place as usual at all other times.
- Mocks for options subjects will take place in lessons at some point before 12/06/26 – teaching staff will be in touch with more detail about these exams.
