Your End of Year Assessments will be taking place very soon, and I wanted to share with you some helpful advice on how to prepare.
Assessments are a chance for you to understand how much you have learned over the last school year, and for your teachers to understand what you know, and what gaps in knowledge you may have so that they can support you going forwards. While these assessments are very important, they should not be a source of worry for you, particularly if you take the time to prepare yourselves well.
We will be talking to you more about this in tutor time and assembly, but for now, please find some useful information below:
Key Stage Three End Of Year Assessments
- Core assessments take place during the week beginning 04/05/26.
- Students will be allocated a room number and a seat number for all three exams.
- Lessons will take place as usual at all other times.
- Non-core assessments will take place in lessons at some point before 22 May 2026 – teaching staff will be in touch with more detail about these assessments.
