Year 7 Curriculum Day: Science - Parent/Carer evening

Year 7 Wider Learning Day
Tuesday 28 September 2021: 4pm - 5pm
Next Tuesday we are looking forward to our year 7's experiencing their first ever Wider Learning Day at Beckfoot. This will be the first of many, each one giving them an opportunity to experience things outside of the normal curriculum.
On Tuesday, the students will be off timetable all day working together to solve a crime and using scientific techniques to find the culprit. Could it be Mr Wade? Or will Mr Darling be the guilty one? Maybe someone else? The students will have a day to piece together the evidence and find out who has broken the rules.
We would also like to invite Year 7 parents and carers into school on Tuesday afternoon to see what the students have been working on. It would be a great opportunity for any of you who were unable to look around the school last year to come inside, meet some staff and look around one of our Science labs too.
We will start at 4pm in the main hall if you would like to attend. We hope to be finished by 5pm at the latest.
