Transition Day (Year 6 Students)

8.40am – 2:00pm
We look forward to seeing your child again on our Transition Day. They will experience a day at Beckfoot, learn more about the school and hopefully get answers to all their questions. It is also an opportunity to begin building new friendships and get to know their Tutor which ensures a smooth start with us. Please ensure your child is at the front of school between 8.30am – 8.40am where staff will be excited to meet and greet them. Please don’t arrive earlier due to the school buses.
They must wear their primary school uniform and will require a packed lunch for the day. They do not need a coat on in school. They will also have their photograph taken in readiness for their September start.
Your child will need to be collected in person at 2.00pm at the red tarmac area by the South Entrance. In order to ensure a smooth departure for our new students and their families, you may park in the bus bay which is near the pick-up point but please ensure you collect your child in person. Our driveway is only available to families with a permit. If your child is walking home or using public transport, please inform us at Transition Evening at the sign-in desk.
