One of our students is currently spending some time in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London (GOSH) and his friends and teachers have felt the need to do something to support the Hospital and the family. It has been a real team effort from the Beckfoot & Hazelbeck Community - friends in Lego club have run a competition to build Lego towers, his teaching assistants have been selling food and organising a staff raffle and today fellow Year 9 students held a bun sale. Over £750 has been raised which will be used to buy games consoles and games for the children to use at GOSH.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this magnificent fundraising effort. Click here to find out more about the work of the GOSH Charity.
