Determination to succeed!

Determination to succeed! thumbnail

We are all celebrating Bradford City’s win over Arsenal last night – James Hanson, centre forward for City is an ex-Beckfooter! James and the team pulled off an historic victory in front of a record crowd, including many of our own students and staff. Mr Wade taught James during his time at Beckfoot (1999-2004) and remembers him as,

‘a wonderful contributor to the success of Beckfoot teams, winning many cups and trophies. His commitment and determination to succeed is a fantastic example to all our students’.

The A Level Art and Design Summer Show has established itself as an eagerly anticipated and much enjoyed event in the school year. Turning the school hall into a gallery in the heart of Beckfoot is a fantastic opportunity for some of the most talented young artists and designers in the school. As with previous years the standard of the work was incredibly high and the variety of the work displayed reflected a desire on the part of students to take work in a highly individual direction.
